Auschwitz-Birkenau, September 2026, during Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.
A place where time seems to have stood still, yet memory continues to endure.
Among the buildings, fences, and spaces that remain, a profound silence carries the weight of history. The absence of those who once lived here can be felt in every corner, every empty space, and every detail left behind.
This photographic series seeks to explore not only what remains, but also what is missing. To document the distance between past and present, between presence and absence, and between what the eye can see and what the place evokes.
An attempt to express through photography what words alone cannot always convey.
Time passed. The silence remained.
